ABOUT ME

My name is Martha Gilheaney and I am a Personal Shopper, Image Consultant and Stylist in the heart of Dublin City.

My Work and Education background is Fashion, Dance, Business, and English.  I've been a teacher most of my life, first dance from the age of 14, and then English. Teaching awakened in me a passion for helping others to flourish, to reach their goals, and believe in themselves.  It also opened up the world, taking me from schools, to stages, theatres, travel, and tv appearances far and wide. From representing Leitrim in the Rose of Tralee to performing on Broadway, to living and working abroad in places as diverse as Hungary and Italy.

Underpinning every move I made was fashion, it was a key part of what made those moves possible.  The power of your personal image and its impact on your confidence and wellbeing, and on those around you should never be underestimated.

And so, with a natural flair for fashion I decided to reinforce my knowledge by completing a Diploma in Image and Fashion Styling.  This was followed up with a successful Fashion and Lifestyle Blog - ‘Martha’s Looking Glass’ and then a Personal Shopping and Image Consultancy service.

Personally I’m very passionate, patient, enthusiastic, kind and sensitive to people’s needs, insecurities, body image, plus life upheavals, and how they impact our image, our confidence, and our wardrobes.  Over the years I've mastered the ability to meet your styling needs within life's challenges including limited time and budget constraints.  Trust me, great style does not require great expense!

So if you have a wedding, a special occasion, or no occasion other than life! Or perhaps you have a holiday, a new job, a new season or phase in your life, and you'd like the look to go with it, then an image consultancy, wardrobe weeding, or personal shopping service with me might be just what you're looking for.
